Best decisive passer/assistant in history
Dear Mr. Acosta,
First of all, I wanted to congratulate you for this website, which is one of the best site on statistics between C. Ronaldo and Messi !
In addition to being very precise and complete in terms of trophies, goals, assists or other between the Portuguese striker and the Argentine playmaker , I saw that you tried to compare them also with Pelé. I think it is a good idea.
I saw that you listed 305 assists for Pelé during his career.
So, how did you find the exact stats of Pelé's career assists, because I looked everywhere and I never found anything !
Also, do you plan to do the same with Maradona (that would be nice), Bican, Gerd Muller, Puskas, Romario, Eusébio, Cruyff, and other great players in football history ?
It would be interesting to see who is the most decisive player (Goal + Assist) in history, although it is highly likely that it is Bican or Pelé (1062 g + a according to you), even if Messi is not very far (1021 g + a).
In any case, continue as it is very interesting but if you integrate other great players, you could become a big reference in football statistics sites.
With best regards,
So, do you consider that Pelé is the best "assistant" in history (305) for the moment ?
I don't know the stats for Maradona but he must have at least over 200 assists, no doubt.. ?
I found a source and Maradona seems to have ~250 assists in his carreer (depending on sources), with a goal contributions of ~600 g+a in his carreer !
And I found another statistical record for Pelé, with at least 332 assists for Pelé in his career, with a goal contribution in his career of ~1093 goals + assists ?
